Adoptions are a fantastic way to support our work, helping to fund everything from food bills and veterinary care for our existing residents, right through to exciting projects like our Pig Barn & Woodland! Adoptions last for 12 months and you can even choose digital adoption, which is sent via email instead of through the post.

Standard UK delivery is included free of charge. Your pack will be sent Royal Mail 2nd Class and should arrive within 2-3 business days – but please allow up to 5 business days for it to arrive.
Need it sooner? For an additional donation of £3.50, we’ll send your pack Royal Mail Tracked 24 and it should arrive within 1-2 business days. If you require Guaranteed Next Day Delivery, please email us at info@goodheart.org.uk before placing your order.
Yes! As well as being a wonderful way to treat yourself while doing good too, our adoption boxes make fantastic gifts for friends and family of all ages! Once you’ve chosen a resident, just click the ‘adopt an animal as a gift’ button on the form. We also offer the option to add a personalised gift message to your box.
Yes. Just select ’email adoption’ on the order form and we’ll send you a digital adoption pack instead, which includes information on your chosen animal, your adoption e-certificate, plus a PDF recipe card.
We send out between 3 and 4 animal update emails for our nine residents throughout the year. Adoptions last for 12 months, and so you/your recipient will receive animal updates up until the date of expiry, although you can unsubscribe at any time if you wish.
If you are buying a box as a gift and want to ensure that your recipient doesn’t receive an update before you give them their box, just email info@goodheart.org.uk after you have placed your order and we’ll arrange this.

Yes, you can usually meet the animal that you adopt by booking a visit to our sanctuary. Some of our animals are a little shy and may not be feeling sociable on the day you visit, but most of our adoptable animals including Rufus and Duncan the cows, Ellie the pig, Harry the pony and Dorothy the chicken all love fuss from humans.
Once you have booked a tour via our website, just email us at info@goodheart.org.uk to let us know that you would like to meet your adopted animal and we will do our best to include this in the experience.
Please note that as a small charity, we cannot process refunds unless you have received an incorrect item.
