Our site features a diverse landscape of fields and woodland, now enhanced with several exciting habitat development projects. These include the Pig Barn & Woodland, the Goodheart Home for Rescued Hens, and a dedicated Outdoor Education Area.

We invite schools to explore our sanctuary through engaging school trips that offer an enriching experience in a natural setting.

Our facilities:

We’re pleased to offer the following facilities at our sanctuary:

  • Education Room: Our indoor education space is useful for hosting presentations, workshops and practical sessions and even includes a mini gift shop, where pupils can purchase Goodheart merchandise including t-shirts, stationery and more.

Why book a School Visit to Goodheart?

Studies have shown that learning outside the classroom teaches children to become independent, critical thinkers and allows for risk taking in a controlled environment. This will develop children’s confidence, maturity and mental wellbeing, as well as improving their attainment in education.

Here at Goodheart Farm Animal Sanctuary, we have many years experience hosting school visits and our friendly and knowledgeable team are passionate about what they do. We’re proud to ensure a safe, fulfilling, and fun experience for all ages and abilities.
