Play our Weekly Lottery!

We’ve just launched our Goodheart lottery!

We’ve teamed up with Unity Lottery, the UK’s fundraising lottery scheme designed to give small charities like us the chance to gain support and raise valuable funds through their own weekly lottery draw!

Provided you select us as your chosen cause, for every £1 played, at least 50p goes directly towards our mission to help end animal cruelty and exploitation.

How to get started

  1. Hit the orange ‘PLAY NOW’ button below.
  2. Enter a few details and choose whether you would like to pay on a one-off or regular basis.
  3. You’ll be given a six-digit lottery number for each £1 entry. The more entries you have, the greater your chance of winning.
  4. The draw is run every Friday and each entry has the chance to win one of four amazing prizes, including the top prize of £25,000!

50% of the total lottery proceeds go to supporting the work carried out by Goodheart Animal Sanctuaries.

Lottery FAQs

Please read the following information to learn more about how our weekly lottery works.

The Unity Lottery is a lottery platform which charities can use to run their own fundraising lotteries. The Unity Lottery platform is administered by Sterling Management Centre Limited, a licensed External Lottery Manager (ELM) by the Gambling Commission.

For every £1 entry, players receive their own unique 6-digit lottery number. Every Friday, a random 6-digit winning number sequence is generated. If the player’s digits are in same positions as the digits in the winning number sequence, they win a prize!

For example, if the winning number sequence was 123456, the lottery number 163057 would be a 3-digit winning match because 3 digits are positioned in the same place in the sequence.

You can play on a one-off or regular basis:

One-off: Playing on a one-off basis starts from £13, which entitles you to one chance per draw in 13 draws.

Direct debit: Playing by Direct Debit means your balance will top-up automatically so you never miss a draw. This can be done monthly, quarterly, half-annually or annually, starting from just £4.34 which is one chance per weekly draw. See below for why an extra 34p is charged.

The draw takes place every week and there can be 4 or 5 draws per month depending on where the dates fall within a calendar month. If you do not have enough credit at the time of a draw, your number will not be entered.

To help prevent you missing out on any draws in a 5 week month we take an extra £0.34 per entry each month. This extra £0.34 per entry is built up to a full £1 to cover instances when there are 5 draws in a month.

Here are the fantastic prizes up for grabs:

• 3 digit match = 5 entries into the next draw
• 4 digit match = £25
• 5 digit match = £1,000
• 6 digit match = £25,000

For every £1 played, at least 50p goes directly to the respective cause as profit. The other 50p is split between the prize pot and administration costs. Provided you go through the PLAY NOW button above, your chosen cause will be Goodheart Animal Sanctuaries. Once you’ve entered into your first draw and created an account, your chosen charity will be saved for future use and you don’t need to use the above link to play.

The funds from Unity Lottery will help towards everything we do, from food and vet bills for our rescued animals, to maintaining our sanctuary site, right through to planning events!

Each £1 entry has a 1 in 63 chance of winning one of four fantastic prizes. Every entry in Unity has an equal chance of winning, no matter which charity is being supported or how many players that good cause has in their lottery.

All the lucky winners will be contacted by Unity Lottery directly, but you can also check the Unity website. We won’t announce winners on the Goodheart Animal Sanctuaries website or social media pages.
