No time for a field trip? No problem, we’ve got your back.
If you live within an hour’s drive of Goodheart Farm Sanctuary, a member of our sanctuary team can visit your school to meet your class.
We want to enrich your student’s learning by giving them a glimpse of what it’s like to work for an animal welfare charity. We will also spark conversation about what it means to be sustainable and the effects of animal agriculture on our environment.
Our outreach workshops can last between 40 and 60 minutes and are suitable for KS3.
To book your outreach visit, please contact Kath@goodheart.org.uk.
Here’s what one teacher had to say…
Following an outreach session on plant-based eating, one food technology teacher at an all-boys school said:
“The students most enjoyed your enthusiasm and ability to engage them. You are clearly a trained teacher – you are good at thinking on your feet and the session was well structured. The boys enjoyed that and asked lots of questions. Humour was used throughout and the boys thoroughly enjoyed it. The students were engaged because there was a variety of tasks to complete.”
We’re passionate about bringing our message to as many people as possible, but we want do do it in a way that benefits our visitors, our residents, and our local community.
